We took a few days in the ol’ studio last week to record our next EP. I know, “what the shit guys? Your album hasn’t even been released yet.” Yeah yeah, keep your panties on, it’s on the way. But while the LP is being mixed and mastered, we’ve got new tunes just aching inContinue reading “LP In The Bag – On To New Things”

Shred Kelly shreds
Shred Kelly are not only a great band (dancy pants required for their shows), they are some of the nicest humans of all time. Mucho fun for us to open for them at their 10-year anniversary tour Cactus Jacks show. Those BC beauties killed it, and Echo Beach was stoked to get the crowd hipContinue reading “Shred Kelly shreds”
Happy birthday Iron Road
The best birthday parties are the ones where the beer supply doesn’t run out. You can always count on Iron Road Brewing to keep the award-winning craft brews flowing. The back brew room is a great venue when they open it up to the public, and it was a hell of a night. A topContinue reading “Happy birthday Iron Road”
A fest, ribbed for her pleasure
What’s better than some saucy meats? Some corn stuck between your teeth? A man sobbing uncontrollably because he didn’t win an ice cream eating contest? These are all some of the best things that I can think of, definitely all right near the top of the list. So thank fuck for Ribfest. For this event,Continue reading “A fest, ribbed for her pleasure”
Skate Sun Peaks
June 8 was our 2nd time playing a show up in Sun Peaks during the Skate Sun Peaks weekend. Last year our show was at Masa’s, and this year we we at Morrisey’s. The skate event, put on annually by the Kamloops Longboard Club, has long boarders firing down the hill during the day, andContinue reading “Skate Sun Peaks”
The go to at the Grotto
Some people are experts at shakin’ it. Those experts were at our April show at the Grotto. We thought one guy might even bust out a back-flip. God damn it he looked like he wanted to. We bust out a new songs or two, one about whales, one about salted meats, probably another one aboutContinue reading “The go to at the Grotto”
Subculture, subbing them cultures
Food trucks, tunes, craft beer and art. We like all of those things. The brand spanking new festival was hosted on iTel Networks grounds featured an Art Battle, an array of displays from Makerspace, and a host of live music. We’re always ready to bust out some tunes on a summer evening, especially when Red CollarContinue reading “Subculture, subbing them cultures”
Who Loops? BrewLoops
I mean, who doesn’t like a festival where they bring in breweries from all around BC. Lots of greats beers and ciders were had during this event. This marked the second BrewLoops event that we’ve played, and we always have a great time. Lots of cool people, and did we mention the beers?
BIG Winter Classic Baby
BIG Winter classic was a roast Calgary. What a time! Great venues and a ton of great bands. This is one festival you gotta check out. We took a little adventure in Banff on the way through. You know, ice skating, maple syrup, bear carvings, rocky mountain classics.
The Culture Club. I think this means we’re members. Finally have some of that god damn culture.
We’re going to be shooting some LIVVEEEE video at Merritt’s Culture Club on March 10. Mucho thanks to Dung Beatles and At Mission Dolores for setting the event up, and the Gov’t & Red Collar Brewing for sponsoring.
